Princeton powered past Rutgers on Saturday afternoon at Sherrerd Field, securing a 20–9 win to improve to 4–1 on the season while handing Rutgers its second loss at 5–2. The Tigers jumped on the Scarlet Knights early, erupting for nine first-quarter goals and immediately putting Rutgers in a deep hole. Goals from Nate Kabiri, Parker Reynolds, Colin Burns, and Tucker Wade helped Princeton storm out to a commanding 9–2 lead after the opening quarter, overwhelming the Rutgers defense with constant pressure and quick offensive possessions.

The Tigers kept their foot on the gas in the second quarter, adding five more goals to take a 14–3 lead into halftime. Burns and Wade led the offensive explosion, each finishing the day with four goals as Princeton’s attack consistently found open looks. The Tigers also displayed strong offensive depth, with multiple players contributing across the lineup and keeping the scoring run going throughout the first three quarters.

Rutgers managed to generate some offense late in the game, including two goals from Bennett Raphalian and a pair from Colin Kelly, while Greyson Vorgang, Joe Juengerkes, and Brenden Kelly also found the back of the net. The Scarlet Knights scored four goals in the fourth quarter, but the deficit proved too large to overcome. Princeton added five more goals in the third quarter and another in the fourth to close out the convincing 20–9 victory in front of 1,108 fans in Princeton.
